Forbes Endodontics has been providing specialty endodontic care to the Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties since 1982. Excellence, quality care and comfort of our patients are the primary concerns and goals of our practice. Forbes Endodontics is invested heavily into technically advanced endodontic equipment including Microscopes and 3-D X-Ray Imaging. This equipment not only reduces our patients procedure time but also increases the quality and predictability of the final endodontic result.  Also, we utilize the advanced Practice Management software called The Digital Office.  This software is a paperless system that allows us to provide the highest level of patient treatment and care.   For your convenience you can fill out most of your "paperwork" on-line on this website.

What is Root Canal Therapy

Root Canal Therapy (Endodontics) involves the removal of all infection from the root canal.  During the treatment the infected pulp is removed.  Any abscesses which may be present can also be drained at this time.  The root canal is then cleaned and shaped ready for filling.  A temporary filling is inserted and the tooth is left to settle for 2 weeks before a permanent crown can be applied.
